This diploma in Interior design offers elective modules in relevant specializations such as Adaptive Reuse, Built Heritage, Furniture Design, and Parametric Design. Pearl Academy offers the Who’s Next Scholarship to all its applicants for the academic year 2023. In the academic year 2021-22, 16 students were granted scholarships in the Interior Design & Technology course, with a 20% to 100% waiver in tuition fees.

The course scholarship criteria varies based on academic merit, financial need, and other factors. Students can apply for Interior design course scholarship at the time of admission by submitting the necessary documents and meeting the eligibility criteria. We give student loan assistance to those who require it. What are the subjects in the Undergraduate Interior Design & Technology Course?

Our 4 year Undergraduate Interior Design syllabus is meticulously designed by industry experts with years of practical experience in the field.

The first year curriculum includes the basics of Natural and Built Environment, Design Abilities, History and Narratives, and various immersion labs.

The second year curriculum focuses on Design Culture, Digital Fabrications, Hand Drawing and Modelling, Spatial Design, Digital Drawings and Construction Detailing.

The third year curriculum comprises Cultural Studies, Digital Design Tools, International Lab Experience and Advanced Digital tools.

The final year curriculum centres around Problem Setting, FutureLABS Studio, Social Enterprise Project, Business Tools for Designers, Professional Practice, Portfolio and Final Project.

Pearl Academy offers a 4-year professional diploma in Interior Design & Technology for candidates looking for an interior designer course after 12th standard. While an interior design background can come in handy, students from any stream and background can apply to the course. The eligibility criteria for the course are as follows:

  • Candidates must have passed their 10+2 examination from any recognized board or universities.
  • Candidates must have scored a minimum of 50% marks in their 10+2 examination.
  • Candidates appearing in their final examination can also apply provisionally.  
    • Besides these above criteria, candidates must clear the Pearl Academy Design Aptitude Test (DAT) and General Proficiency Test (GPT).
