Under Graduate Programs
Accreditation Timeline -Pearl Academy
Pearl Academy offers 3-year and 4-year undergraduate programs. Students enrolled in these programs are eligible to receive a certificate after the successful completion of each year.
However, if students wish to pursue an Indian or international degree program, Pearl Academy facilitates admission into the same, details of which are as follows:
International Bachelor's Degree
On completion of the Advanced Diploma, Pearl Academy students have an option to pursue a bachelor's degree program from some of the renowned international universities with which Pearl Academy has academic collaborations. These are Nottingham Trent University, University of Derby, Manchester Metropolitan University, University of Creative Arts and Torrens University Australia. Pearl Academy facilitates the enrolment of eligible students in the final year of the undergraduate degree programs at these universities based on a recognition of and transfer of credits. Students graduate with a degree from the International University.
However, students should note that an international degree is presently not equivalent to an Indian degree as per Association of Indian Universities (AIU) and hence, they will not be able to pursue a post - graduate degree in India unless they have completed the distance education degree facilitated by Pearl.
Students with international degrees are accepted by private and international organizations /MNCs for employment.
Indian Bachelor's Degree
Pearl Academy facilitates the enrolment of an Indian bachelor’s program so that its students have the option to earn a UGC recognized degree.
Delhi Campus - School of Open Learning, Delhi University.
Mumbai Campus -Institute of Distance and Open Learning, Mumbai. University.
Bangalore Campus - Directorate of Correspondence Courses, Bangalore University. Eligible students from 2022 batch and onwards can get a degree from Bengaluru City University.
Jaipur Campus- Eligible students from 2020 batch and onwards can enrol for BVoc/B.Des degree from Rajasthan ILD Skills University (RISU). Pearl Academy Jaipur Campus is an approved affiliated institute of RISU, a pioneering government skill university recognized by UGC.
Students pursuing Management Programs will be facilitated to enrol for BBA program from IGNOU.
If a student wants to pursue a degree program through ODL (Open and Distance Learning) from a recognized university other than the ones mentioned above, he/she is free to do so.

Pearl Academy functions as an autonomous institution and does not confer degrees/diplomas approved by UGC /AICTE or any other regulatory authority.
Post Graduate Programs
The students will be awarded a post graduate diploma from Pearl Academy on successful completion. Since Pearl Academy is an autonomous institution, the post-graduate diploma is not accredited by -UGC /AICTE.
Post Graduate programs offered by Pearl Academy are validated by IED - Instituto Europeo di Design Milan.
International /Industry Exposure
All students pursuing under-graduate and post-graduate programs at Pearl Academy receive multiple opportunities to gain international industry exposure through international student exchange programs, master classes by global experts, familiarization trips to manufacturing units, export houses, fashion houses and access to international fashion weeks etc.
Accreditation facts till Academic Year 2016
Pearl Academy does not offer any degree programs of its own. The BA (Hons.) and master’s degrees are awarded by the Nottingham Trent University, UK.
The BA (H) and master’s Degrees, issued by Nottingham Trent University do not receive equivalence certificate from AIU Students with these degrees/qualifications are eligible to progress to any international university but are not eligible to transfer or progress to any university, deemed to be university or any institution recognised by UGC in India. Students with NTU degree are advised to enrol for an Indian degree program through Open and Distance learning mode should they wish to pursue post graduate degree.
Students with NTU degrees are eligible for employment in private organisations in India or internationally, but not entitled to apply for Government jobs in India.
The Batch of 2016 will be the last cohort of students to graduate with NTU degrees upon completion of their program. There will be a gradual phasing out of the NTU validated courses, and students will be required to work to the following final completion dates:
MAs – to complete by July 2018
3 yr. BAs – to complete by December 2019
4 yr. BAs – to complete by December 2020

Pearl Academy (“Academy”) reserves the right to cancel a course before or after its commencement of course by giving a notice, at any time due to any internal technical or administrative reasons or due to insufficient strength of the course. If Academy cancels a course, you will be eligible for a full refund of the course fee. Academy may also offer a transfer to another course as an alternative, subject to payment or refund of any difference in course fees.
Academy will process any refund due as soon as possible and, in any case, within 45 days of notice of cancellation. The refund will be made using the same method of payment that you originally used to make your course booking unless otherwise expressly agreed with you.
Academy will make all reasonable efforts to deliver the course as outlined on Academy’s site and in any brochure or published material. However, Academy reserves the right to:
a. Alter the timetable, location or presenters specified for a course; and
b. Make reasonable amendments to the content and syllabus of a course, when necessary.
Academy reserves the right to cancel your course booking in Academy’s absolute discretion, and refund all fees paid by you, irrespective of whether the course itself is to proceed, without any further liability on our part.
Academy also reserves the right to exclude you from any course before or after its commencement of course, if in Academy’s absolute discretion Academy considers that you are impeding the provision of the course or other of Academy’s activities, or your presence is bringing or threatening to bring the Academy or any part of it or its subsidiaries into disrepute. In these circumstances, Academy will refund all fees paid by you but will have no further liability to you in respect of such termination or exclusion.
