Overview
A comprehensive framework designed to overcome the limitations thrown by COVID-19. ICLF (Immersive Creative Learning Framework) consists of Pre-semester Learning, Enhanced Online Learning and Intense Face-to-Face Learning. It includes customized teaching and learning plans for Pearl Academy students basis their year of the program. Our academic experts have developed ICLF for the July-December academic cycle, and it can be adapted for long-term implementation.
Phase 1
Pre-semester Learning (July 1, 2020 to August 29, 2020)
A series of multi-disciplinary modules for the new batch of 2020. Students can join anytime within the 8 weeks of the program, starting from 1st of July and get an exclusive preview to Learning@Pearl.

Exclusive preview to Life@Pearl by engaging with Faculty & Pearlites
While each module has a specific objective, the intent is to induct the new students to the world of creative practices, generate curiosity in them and make their learning process immersive yet enjoyable. Pre-semester learning at Pearl Academy will be conducted online from July 1, 2020 to August 31, 2020.
Phase 2
Enhanced Online Learning (September 1, 2020 – October 3, 2020)
For existing and new students, the semester will begin from August 1 and September 1 onwards, respectively. There will be online classes, webinars, masterclasses as per the curriculum and personalized mentoring sessions as per a student's needs. Pearl Academy will also provide them with essentials like ‘Study From Home’ kit to create a home studio. It will include essentials for a fashion class, editing software and apps or drawing tablets based on the requirement of the semester. This initiative has been taken to ensure that students do not miss on practical projects and hands-on experiences due to lack of resources.
Phase 3
Intense, face-to-face learning (October 5, 2020 – December 27, 2020)
On-campus classes will begin from October 1, and it will be the intense phase of the semester. Classes will be conducted all days of the week; there will be extra practical hours and studio hours, two full shifts a day and reduced winter break. The Pearl Academy campuses will open with all safety precautions in place as per the government guidelines. However, online classes will also be conducted for students who are unable to or do not want to attend on-campus classes.
