Shubham is a Designer & Educator with a decade-long experience in the crafts ecosystems of India, her expertise is in Materials Studies, Manufacturing Techniques, Product Development, Craft Research & Documentation. An alumna of the Indian Institute of Crafts & Design (IICD) with a specialization in Hard Materials. She holds a certificate in Luxury Business Management from IIM- Ahmedabad.

Previously she has worked on an array of projects with the Indian Institute of Crafts & Design & Abhijit Bansod Design to connect craftsmen to the industry through guided interventions, product diversification workshops, and student projects.

She has conducted sessions at prestigious platforms like Pune Design Festival, World Bamboo Workshop, Hyderabad Design Week, and ISS Film festival by Michigan State University. She believes in the explorative approach in design with more sensitivity towards materials, techniques, and processes to create a sustainable future. She aims to create a positive social impact through the collaboration of art & craft of the artisans within the design discipline.
