Shalini Bisht
Associate Professor, School of Fashion

Shalini is a Fashion & Communications professional with nearly 20 years of work experience in diverse areas. She worked as a Designer for Kids Wear and Women’s Wear before taking up teaching assignments. She started her teaching career at Kasturba Polytechnic and gradually shifted to various institutes as part-time faculty. She also handled her own institute for imparting training in language and creative skills development. She has been conducting Skill Development training workshops in the Handicrafts Sector for NCDPD, under the HRD schemes of Ministry of Textiles. She also took PEP sessions at The University of Petroleum and Energy Studies. Shalini has done significant work for the unprivileged as an Area Officer for Swarna Jayanti Shehri Rozgar Yojna under the Urban-Development Department. She is a regular panel member for Curriculum Revision Committee, Paper Setting and Evaluation Committee for BTE (Board of Technical Education).
