Nidhi Joshi
Assistant Professor, School of Design

Nidhi Joshi is an architect, interior designer, academic, and a green building consultant by profession. She is the Course Leader for PG in Interior design and styling, and UG Interior and Spatial Design, Bengaluru campus, Pearl Academy.

Nidhi completed her B.Arch from B.M.S.C.E - Bengaluru (2011) and her M.Arch in Environmental Architecture and Planning from BNCA - Pune (2020). She is an Indian Green Building Council (IGBC) Accredited Professional.

Nidhi started her career with Jaisim-Fountainhead where she worked on Sri Sri University project for ‘The Art of Living’ foundation. She has worked with Design Café, Sanctuary architects and interior designers, and Elba Kitchens – Australia gaining experience in residential interiors. She has been a visiting faculty at The Oxford School of Architecture Bengaluru. She has worked on several residential, commercial, and institutional projects as an independent architect and interior designer. With expertise in net-zero-energy-water-waste buildings, Nidhi serves as a Technical Resource Group (TRG) member for Solar Decathlon India 2020-21, a national collegiate competition.

Nidhi has participated and won international and national design competitions focusing on sustainability such as Solar Decathlon 2018-19 hosted by the U.S. Department of Energy and ‘Sustainable Design’ award 2020 by A3 Foundation a brainchild of Ar. Sangeet Sharma. She believes in making buildings resilient and comfortable through the integration of disaster mitigation, climate change adaptation, environmentalism, sustainability, design, research, and interiors.
