In the last two decades of her professional experience, Ritu has been igniting her students minds with deep industry knowledge, best sustainability practices, consumer behavior retail basics and lots more. She specializes in Retail Merchandising & Buying, Retail Operations, Retail Strategy, Fundamentals of Marketing, Consumer Behaviour, Elements of Fashion, and International Marketing.

Currently pursuing a PhD in Management (Consumer Behavior), her academic qualifications include a BSc degree in Botany, a Master’s degree in Sales & Marketing, PG Diploma in International Business, PG Diploma in Fashion Retail Management & PG Certificate in Higher Education (PGCHE). In research, her interest areas include Consumer Behaviour, Retail, Sustainable Consumption. Her achievements include 'The Best Paper award' in the Marketing & Innovation track in the 9th IBS Conference on Marketing & Strategy held on the theme Marketing 5.0: Opportunities and Challenges (2022). Her paper Titled “Mainstreaming Fashion Rental Consumption: A systematic and thematic review of Literature” got published in the Journal of Business Research, ABDC, A-grade journal.

She also secured First Rank, Best Academic Performance, Fashion Retail Management (2001), 2nd Rank, Post Graduate Certificate in Higher Education (2009) and 2nd Position, Costume Designing Competition "Aadyant" (2013).

Ritu encourages her students to collaborate, voice opinions, be innovative agile thinkers and problem-solvers.

Her personal motto is: Identify the true potential of a student and nurtures it through the freedom of self-exploration, reflection and synthesis of new knowledge.
